Set within the atmospheric Leake Street Arches beneath Waterloo, HUMBUG 2023 marked the debut of this immersive Christmas dive bar experience, blending festive cabaret, interactive performance, and live music in a fully themed environment.
In 2023, Backyard Cinema brought its iconic Miami Beach experience to Manchester, transforming the rooftop at Depot Mayfield into an immersive 1980s beach-themed cinema. Niche Productions Group provided full site production and technical management for the project, leading the remount and adaptation for the new venue.
Our role included designing and installing all technical systems - lighting, sound, AV, CCTV, and network infrastructure - while managing on-site logistics, build coordination, and de-rig. The result was a seamless, atmospheric experience that brought Backyard’s signature cinematic escapism to a brand-new city.
